War Coral Frag
The War Coral Frag is a striking LPS coral known for its intense contrasting colours and distinctive raised corallites. Commonly seen in combinations of deep red, green and darker tones, War Coral can create an impressive splash of colour in the lower and middle sections of a reef aquarium.

Aquarium Care
War Coral prefers moderate indirect flow and lighting that is not excessively intense.
Once settled, it will gradually encrust over nearby rockwork and develop into a larger colony. Give the frag enough room from surrounding corals so it has space to expand.
Feeding
War Coral receives most of its energy through photosynthesis but can benefit from occasional target feeding.
Suitable foods include:
- Mysis shrimp
- Fine LPS coral foods
- Enriched brine shrimp
- Finely chopped marine foods
Feeding tentacles may become particularly noticeable after lights out or when food enters the aquarium.
Give It Some Space
War Coral can produce sweeper tentacles capable of stinging nearby corals, so avoid placing it directly beside other LPS or soft corals.
Allow several centimetres of clearance around the frag, with additional room as the colony grows.
Stable Water Parameters
For strong growth and colour, maintain stable reef aquarium conditions with consistent:

- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Salinity
- Temperature
- Nitrate and phosphate levels
