Toxic Green Hammer Coral
The Toxic Green Hammer Coral is a vibrant LPS coral featuring intensely fluorescent green colouration and the distinctive hammer-shaped tentacle tips that give this popular Euphyllia its name. Under quality reef lighting, the bright green tones can produce an incredible glow, making this an excellent feature coral for any reef aquarium.
Hammer Corals are a favourite among reef keepers thanks to their combination of bold colour, fleshy polyps and constant movement in the current. With the right conditions and stable water parameters, they can develop into impressive colonies over time.

Provide enough flow to gently move the tentacles without blasting the coral directly. Excessive flow can prevent full extension and potentially damage the fleshy polyps.
Hammer Corals can extend sweeper tentacles and sting neighbouring corals, so allow plenty of space around the colony when positioning it in your reef.
Like other Euphyllia, Toxic Green Hammer Coral performs best with stable reef parameters, particularly alkalinity, calcium and magnesium. Occasional feeding with suitable coral foods can help support growth and overall condition.
