Teal & Blue Acan Lord
The Teal & Blue Acan Lord is a stunning LPS coral featuring rich teal and blue colouration across its large, fleshy polyps. Acan Lords are a long-standing favourite among reef keepers thanks to their incredible colour, attractive rounded polyps and relatively straightforward care requirements.
Also commonly known as Micromussa lordhowensis (formerly Acanthastrea lordhowensis), these corals form low-growing colonies that gradually spread across the rockwork, creating an impressive display of colour and texture.

Acan Lords do best with gentle-to-moderate indirect flow that keeps the coral clean without continually blasting its fleshy polyps. Supplemental feeding several times per week can help encourage strong growth and full polyp extension. Allow adequate space from neighbouring corals, as Acan Lords can extend sweeper tentacles, particularly at night.
Maintain stable reef aquarium parameters, particularly alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, salinity and temperature, for the best long-term growth and colour.
With its bold teal and blue tones and chunky fleshy polyps, the Teal & Blue Acan Lord makes an excellent feature coral for the lower regions of a mixed reef or LPS aquarium.
