Aquarium Placement
Superman Mushrooms generally prefer lower-light areas with gentle, indirect water movement.
Avoid placing them directly under intense lighting or in strong flow, as this may prevent the mushroom from fully expanding or cause it to move from its chosen position.
They are particularly well suited to:
- Lower rockwork
- Shaded areas
- Mushroom gardens
- Isolated rocks where they can spread naturally
Feeding
Superman Mushrooms receive most of their energy through photosynthesis and do not require regular target feeding.
They may occasionally benefit from fine coral foods or small suspended foods within the aquarium, but good lighting and stable nutrient levels are usually sufficient.
Natural Growth
Once settled, Mushroom Corals can gradually reproduce and spread across surrounding rockwork.
If you want to keep the colony contained, placing it on an isolated rock can make future growth easier to manage.
