The Redfin Cactus Pleco L024 is an impressive South American pleco prized for its rugged body shape, heavy armour plating, and eye-catching red to orange finnage. Its dark body develops attractive spotting and contrast as it matures, making it a standout bottom-dwelling centrepiece fish for larger freshwater aquariums.
L024 Plecos are powerful, territorial fish that appreciate plenty of caves, driftwood, rocky structure, and strong filtration. They are best kept with robust tank mates and should be given enough floor space to establish their own territory. A varied diet containing quality sinking foods, protein-rich foods, and vegetable matter will help keep them in excellent condition.
