212s vs 211s – What’s the Difference?
Both the 212s and 211s are black 15ppi ClariTec filter sponges, but they are separate replacement components.
The 212s is used across all ClariTec models from 3000 through to 15000, including the ClariTec 3000.
The 211s is only specified for the ClariTec 5000, 10000 and 15000 models and is not specified for the ClariTec 3000.
Larger ClariTec models may use both sponge types within their filter media arrangement, so always match the replacement part number rather than assuming the two black 15ppi sponges are interchangeable.
