Platinum Koi Angelfish

An elegant angelfish variety combining bright platinum colour with subtle koi-style markings

The Platinum Koi Angelfish is a striking freshwater angelfish with a luminous silver-white body, long flowing fins, and touches of yellow, gold, or black patterning depending on the individual fish. The bright platinum base gives these fish a clean, high-contrast appearance, while the koi influence adds extra variation and character.

Platinum Koi Angelfish make an impressive centrepiece for tall tropical aquariums and look especially good in planted setups with driftwood and open swimming space. They are generally peaceful but can become territorial as they mature or form pairs, particularly during breeding.

Recommended School Size: 4–6 juveniles or an established pair
Compatibility: Generally peaceful; best with calm community fish and avoid very small or fin-nipping species
Max Size: Approximately 15 cm long and up to 25 cm tall including fins
