Organ Pipe Coral – Colony
The Organ Pipe Coral (Tubipora musica) is a distinctive soft coral with a unique red calcareous skeleton made up of tightly packed tube-like structures, giving the colony its characteristic “organ pipe” appearance.
When open, each tube extends a soft, feathery polyp that creates excellent movement throughout the colony. This combination of unusual structure and flowing polyps makes Organ Pipe Coral a great feature for mixed reef aquariums.
