The Long Tentacle Green Torch Coral is a spectacular LPS coral prized for its extra-long, flowing tentacles and vibrant green colouration. With constant movement under aquarium flow, Torch Corals make an incredible feature in a reef aquarium and are one of the most recognisable members of the Euphyllia group.
This long-tentacle variety really comes into its own once fully extended, creating a flowing display that adds both colour and movement to the reef.

Torch Corals prefer enough water movement to keep their tentacles gently swaying without being blasted directly. Strong, concentrated flow can cause the coral to remain retracted and may damage its fleshy tissue.
Give this coral plenty of space. Torch Corals have a powerful sting, and their long tentacles can reach neighbouring corals well beyond the skeleton – particularly with a long-tentacle specimen like this.
Like other Euphyllia, stable reef parameters are important for long-term success. Maintaining consistent alkalinity, calcium and magnesium will support healthy skeletal growth and polyp extension.
Occasional target feeding with suitable meaty coral foods can also help support growth and overall condition.
