Green Tip Long Tentacle Torch Coral performs best under moderate lighting with gentle, variable water movement.
The tentacles should sway naturally through the current rather than being continually blasted in one direction. Excessively strong flow can irritate or damage the fleshy polyps, while very low flow can allow debris to accumulate around the coral.
Middle placement on secure rockwork generally provides a good balance of lighting and flow.
Long Flowing Tentacles
The standout feature of this variety is its extra-long tentacle extension with contrasting green tips.
When fully extended, these long polyps create significant movement and can occupy considerably more space than the coral's skeletal base would suggest.
