Gold Banana Torch Coral performs best under moderate lighting with gentle, oscillating water movement.
The tentacles should sway naturally back and forth rather than being blasted continuously in one direction. Strong direct flow can irritate or damage the fleshy tissue, while very low flow can allow debris to accumulate around the colony.
Gradually acclimate the coral to stronger reef lighting when first introduced.
