Mixing & Dosing Instructions
Fauna Marin Balling Calcium Mix is designed to be dissolved in reverse osmosis (RO/DI) water before dosing into your marine aquarium.
Standard Fauna Marin Balling Light Recipe – Calcium:

Add 3 litres of RO/DI water to a suitable mixing container.

Slowly dissolve 2kg of Fauna Marin Balling Calcium Mix, stirring until dissolved.

Add 25ml of Fauna Marin Balling Light Trace 1.

Add 25ml of Fauna Marin Balling Light Trace 2.

Add additional RO/DI water as directed by the Balling Light mixing instructions, using a suitable container with sufficient capacity.
Approximate Dosing Strength:
When prepared according to the standard Balling Light recipe, 10ml of calcium solution per 100 litres of aquarium water increases calcium by approximately 11ppm.
Actual dosing requirements depend on the calcium consumption of your aquarium. Regular testing is essential to determine the correct daily dosage.
Important: Mixing calcium salts with water generates heat. Always use a suitable container, add the salts carefully and follow the manufacturer's preparation instructions.
