Blue Tipped Elegance Coral
The Blue Tipped Elegance Coral (Catalaphyllia jardinei) is a stunning LPS coral known for its large, fleshy polyp and long flowing tentacles. This colour morph features contrasting blue-tipped tentacles, adding another level of colour to an already impressive showpiece coral.
Elegance Corals create fantastic movement in a reef aquarium, with their long tentacles gently swaying in the current. Given plenty of room to fully expand, they make an outstanding feature coral for the lower areas of an established reef.

Elegance Corals are best positioned on the sandbed or a secure, low and flat area where their fleshy tissue has plenty of room to expand. Avoid strong direct flow, which can prevent proper extension or damage the coral's delicate tissue.
Allow plenty of clearance from neighbouring corals. Elegance Corals have a powerful sting and can extend their tentacles well beyond their skeleton.
Although primarily photosynthetic, occasional target feeding with small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp can help support growth and overall condition.
For best results, keep in a mature reef aquarium with stable water parameters, including consistent alkalinity, calcium and magnesium levels.
